Qualifications and Required Skills
• Have a Bachelor's degree from majoring in Accounting, Finance, or Business with a focus on Finance (required)
• Have a minimum of 2-5 years experience
• Have advanced Excel skills (Pivot Table, V-Lookup, etc.)
• Have experience with SAP and SAP Analysis for Office (preferred)
Responsibilities
• Analyze and prepare inventory & cost of sales, reconciliation of general ledger accounts
• Manages inventory and sales/cost of sales reporting and involves partnering with departments outside of accounting (warehousing, order entry, product management, inventory and financial planning) to jointly manage inventory control and gross profit reporting.
• Participate in the month-end closing process; account analysis, journal entries, and data submission
• Build working relationships with colleagues and other departments to meet goals.
• Prepare annual Business Plans and quarterly Forecasts for assigned expenses from sales ledger accounts.
• As a member of the Cost Accounting team, the position will contribute to departmental decisions regarding work allocation/cross-training and process improvement.
• Provide accurate reporting and analysis of inventory and gross profit
• Participated in preparation of quarterly audit requirements: obsolescence of product line inventory and gross profit, and JSOX – Japan, Sarbanes Oxley control review
