IT Support Associate II Job Vacancy in Amazon USA

We are looking for an Amazon's IT Support which will be the first point of contact for technical support service requests from Amazon Corporate. This position will spend a lot of time handling incoming chats, calls, and online requests according to organizational standards.

Job Description:

• Identifying and resolving end-user computing problems including identifying appropriate resources, analyzing problems, testing proposed fixes and following up to ensure issues have been properly resolved.

• Respond, research and resolve questions posed by phone calls, web chat, email, ticketing system in a timely manner and according to organizational standards.

• Send and create detailed call logs that document thorough, accurate and timely customer interactions.

• Ensure that all customers understand and are satisfied with the work completed.

• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) through the implementation of efficient and effective knowledge management.

• Inform customers of required repairs and answer basic questions.

• Provide basic technical support to Amazon Company employees worldwide.

• Know and keep up to date with relevant policy knowledge to provide users with technically accurate solutions.

• Assists activities to triage and escalate any system or network outages to reduce downtime.

• Adherence to shift schedules and punctuality are key requirements

• Able and willing to work shifts and flexible scheduling, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

• Assist in remote assistance in Teleconferencing systems and AV presentation equipment.


Basic Qualification:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent

• Have 1+ years experience in IT help desk or desk side environment

• Have 1+ years of experience supporting Mac OS ,Windows, or Linux Operating systems in a corporate setting

• Able to communicate with the company's technical and non-technical staff


Preferred Qualification:

• Have a bachelor's degree in Computer science or an IT related field

• Associate in Computer Science or related field

• Have ITIL Foundation certification

• Able to explain complex IT concepts in simpler terms/understanding

• Have skills in operating Microsoft MCSE, advanced Linux system administration, and MCITP System Administrator (Active Directory)

• Able to perform powerful troubleshooting of very complex systems
