Job Description:
• Recommend, evaluate and provide hardware and software solutions for PCs.
• Provide responsive service to resolve issues, end user requests or questions. Then able to work effectively within the set time limit
• Capable and able to provide desktop support to VP level executives.
• Provides troubleshooting of configuration, troubleshooting and installation of PC hardware and peripherals, but not limited to printers, laptops, PCs and desktops.
• Maintain and maintain Server/Network Hardware and procure software and hardware.
• Able to lead and participate in team projects that improve the quality or efficiency of work support.
• Able to support, install, and troubleshoot various software packages, including but not limited to Mcafee, Internet Browser, Outlook, Windows 7, 8.1, 10, Mac OSX, MS Office Suite and various financial database applications.
• Able to lead and assist other desktop staff in supporting large or complex products.
• Can work with software or hardware vendors in resolving technical issues as needed and can act as a liaison
• Desktop and Server Image Systems using industry standard tools.
• Can work together with the Game team to help streamline their IT processes.
• Can build and maintain proactive relationships with studio senior technical leaders and IT team members.
• Provide the necessary documentation for software instructions and projects.
• Asset management using industry standard tools.
• On-call support as needed to effectively complete projects and solve problems in a timely manner
• Performs Monthly, Weekly and Daily backup tasks in the data center.
Qualifications and Technical Skills
• Possess a bachelor's or AS degree with equivalent work experience (essential), i.e. 5-7 years of previous experience in a Senior Desktop support role with the ability to understand technical issues related to desktop support.
• Knowledgeable of enterprise desktop and user administrative tools including McAfee EPO, Directory and Active SCCM
• Know and understand basic network protocols including HTTPS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, SNMP and network hardware.
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong customer service skills.
• Can be a self-starter with the ability to work under tight time constraints as well as good time management skills.
• Have strong documentation skills.
• Have excellent analytical and problem solving skills and be able to work with and support a wide range of users with computer literacy skills ranging from beginners to experts.
• Powerful client OS backgrounds including Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Mac OSX.
